Inspired by the beautiful Japanese tales of Kitsune, fox

Clever, sly, and with beautiful fur the colour of Autumn leaves, a thick tail and a lovely face which makes them look like they are smiling, the fox of Japanese legend is a creature of some significance. In ancient Japan, foxes were deemed to be mystical beings. The kitsune’s ability to shapeshift, still echo through fables across China and Korea. The fox of the fables is a supernatural creature which walks among men disguised as beautiful and charming women which make fortunate or unfortunate men fall in love with them. They are ambivalent creatures, lovable lovers but full of mischief. They are not only clever but also wise, their powers increasing with time.  They know everything about this world. They know the past and what will happen in the future.   Kitsune no Yomeiri (狐の嫁入り “the marriage of the foxes”). During the nigh the foxes gather together in a line one behind another, travelling over rivers and mountains with lanterns made of paper to celebrate their marriages. According to legend, if it's raining but the sun is also shining, then it means that the foxes are having fun, so pay attention, as you may be able to glimpse the marriage of the foxes! #kitsune #fox #japanesetales
